Hello, My name is Sarah. I started working with elementary kids through an after school program. I gradually worked my way up to a Lead Director through a course of 8 years. My duties included snack procedure, teacher to student ratio, attendance, parent communication, money handling, supervised 100 children and 16 staff. I changed careers nearly 4 years ago. I re-enrolled to San Antonio College and currently finishing my certificate in Criminal Justice. I work as an assistant Pre-K teacher in an elementary school full time. I enjoy helping children discover seeing the world and learning about life. Every child is different and I love to accommodate different activities for their own level. I love viewing life through their eyes. The best part of my day is saying hello to children that once was in my class. The hugs and handmade gifts I treasure in a box always. As much Read more as it hurts to leave my job; I also have to think about what my own needs are. I am a full student. I have a wonderful 11 year old daughter and a loving husband of 10 years. When I took a pay cut four years ago I didn't know how much it would effect us. I am currently looking for a full time nanny position that will help other families as well as my own.
