After caring for my boyfriend’s 6 year old autistic brother for the past two years while he and his mom are at work, I figured that I could care for the kids of others. He is a rather difficult child in that he is very rebellious, will say hurtful things quite often, and had been expelled from 3 day care facilities for being physical with the other students and even once with the teacher. Despite this, I get along really well with him and he listens to me more than he listens to his brother. I really enjoy being around children and I feel like I get along well with all children. I also have one year experience as a medical care assistant in the intensive care unit and cardiac recovery unit at Texas Methodist Hospital in Hurst.
