Hi, my name is Alyssa Townsend. I'm 25 years old and live in Austin TX. I have 6 1/2 years in childcare experience, 3 in daycare, 3 1/2 as a nanny. I am experienced with newborns to 17 year olds and have recently been trained as a newborn care specialist. As a newborn care specialist I would help sleep condition baby and educate and support parents. I have experience with special needs children and multiples. My philosophy is that children, even the tiniest of babies, are individual people who deserve respect. I believe in listening to children and following the cues they give me. I am constantly learning how to provide better care in any way I can, but the best education I recieve is from paying attention to the children in my care.
