My name is Kaitlyn Holm (I usually go by Katie), and I'm turning 22 years old on the 16th of September. I moved to Plano last October from Colorado because my husband found a better job here, and the Dallas area proves to has better education opportunities. I'm currently a full-time college student pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in psychology, but eventually want to pursue my Master's degree. I am taking this fall semester off (current semester), because I have attend straight through my summers since I began school a few years ago, and needed a little break. I will begin school again in January 2019, but I attend online, so I can work pretty much any schedule you would need regardless of if I'm attending school or not at that time. I have also maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 throughout high school and currently in my college career. Read more I am married, but I don't have any children. I'm the eldest of four children, one sister and two brothers. They are all in their early to late teens now. My youngest sister will begin high school next year. My parents split-up when I was very young, and though sad, it gave me the opportunity to learn more about my siblings by helping care for them on a daily basis. As I got older, I was in charge of making sure they got home from school, homework, meals, bath time, and bedtime responsibilities. When I learned to drive, I also was able to do drop offs/pick ups from school and transportation to extracurricular activities. As my siblings got older, I took on another babysitting job for my cousin's two young boys. From what I know, they've been happy to have my as their sitter, and were sad we had to part ways when I moved here to Plano. During babysitting the boys, we had a lot of play time, some learning activities (before school age), potty training (for the younger boy), and mealtimes. I can provide my cousin's information as a reference later on, if you'd like me to. Although I've worked a few other jobs, I genuinely feel that being a nanny or babysitting is meant for me. I've been in school for psychology, and have taken many child development classes that also taught us how to care for children up to the age of 18, in addition to how our brains grow and work at a young age. I feel my career choice has given me more preparation and knowledge for this kind of job than I had expected
