I am a mom and I don't know any better experience than that. I have watched all ages of children, from infants to teenagers off and on for 30+ years. I ran my own daycare in my home in 2000, in Nevada. I am a licensed medical assistant and am confident in the medical field. The hours I am available are from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. , Monday through Friday, but I am willing to work more hours if notice is given. I am looking for a long-term position, but am open to any for now. I do feel consistency and dependability is very important for any relationship with a child and an employer. I do have more experience with infants and toddlers but feel very comfortable with all ages. I was with my last employer for 2. 5 years the girls were 7 months and 2 years old when I started. We played games, read books, had tea parties, played dress up, also went out for walks bike rides, softball and soccer. We baked cookies and made aLOT of pinkalicious muffins :) I drove the older child to and from preschool as well as got her up every morning made her and her sister healthy breakfast's, lunch and snacks. I gave them baths and always got them ready for bedtime so their parents could just come home and spend quality time with them. I did their laundry and dishes, always swept and kept their rooms as well as the rest of the house clean. I am looking for my next long time family to grow with. My pay ranges from $11. 00 an hour to $14. 00, I know their are parents who can not afford care and I am willing to talk to anyone about any situation you may have, if need care at a lower rate.
