First of all, my favorite role in life has been as a mother to my 3 grown beautiful daughters. They are all married with children now, and I'm blessed to have 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 5 months to 9 years old. My two youngest daughters live within 90 minutes drive from my home, and each gave birth to a new son, in the past 13 months. I have spent lots of time with these new little cuties, trying to help my kids adjust to motherhood. I am a licensed veterinarian by training, but have not practiced medicine since the 1980's, when I began a career in teaching. I still teach Human Anatomy and Physiology part-time at San Antonio College on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. I need to supplement that income with another part-time job that I enjoy, and being a nanny gives me joy.
