Hi! My name is Monique Flores. I am a Senior at Texas State University, studying Mass Communications. Currently, I work Sunday mornings at St. Mark's Episcopal Church as a Children's Chapel teacher. I conduct lessons and games for the children while caring for them while their parents are in church. I have been working with St. Mark's for almost two years. I have an extensive knowledge of children and how to properly care for them, given that I've volunteered and worked at a children's summer camp for many years now. Camp Capers requires 24/7 care of children ranging from ages 8 to 18. This job required that I be CPR and Lifeguard certified as well as able to protect and care for children in high-pressure situations. I also have experience with infants and toddlers. I love children, and I will give seemingly endless amounts of time to be with them.
