I became a caregiver because of my intense love for children of all ages. I have been babysitting since I was about 13 y/o; I have experience with a diverse range of children. *I would be more than willing to provide you with the names and numbers of the people I have worked for!* I have cared for 6 m/o twins, an autistic 2 y/o & his 1 y/o sister, a family of 4 children ranging in age from 2-12, a family of 4 children with one child being in a wheelchair, and much more! Being CPR certified and having first aid training and special needs experience allows the parents to be quite comfortable while their children are in my care. While caring for children, I have had the responsibilities of cooking and cleaning, entertaining, bathing, and putting the children to sleep, helping the children with homework, and taking the Read more children to and from school and other activities. I am ready and willing to take on any task that is asked of me and I will do so with a happy heart! As a role model student and citizen in my community, I always encourage the children to excel in all that they do. I am valedictorian of my class and I am involved in a number of extracurricular activities; however, this will not interfere with my availability. My activities are just a testament to my work ethic. I am President of National Honor Society, Vice-President of Interact, President of Powerset, Varsity Cheer Co-Captain, Varsity Soccer Captain, and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. As you can see, I am a very driven, motivated, intelligent, and successful person. My goal is to instill these same characteristics in your children. All of these activities and leadership positions have earned my acceptance into Texas A&M University! I will be attending Texas A&M in late August; therefore, I am looking for a temporary, but a permanent relationship with the family and their children! Currently, I am available for after school care. On M/W, I get out of school at 1:50. On T/Th/Fr, I get out of school at 12:55. I am also available for early morning pick up if I am still able to make it to school on time; my school starts at 7:40. During the summer, I will have a completely empty schedule and I will be excited to work any days and hours! Although this is a job, I see it as much more than that. My aim is to be not only a caregiver, but part of the family! I look forward to forming loving and lasting relationships with you and your children!
