Hello and Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am a young at heart loving, caring, dependable nanny/babysitter who has been caring for children most of my life. As a teen I was in demand and kept a busy schedule as a very dependable, responsible and reliable babysitter, who went on to become a nanny to two separate families on consecutive summers. Having worked with children most of my life, I've been a 6th grade teacher as well as teaching 4th grade math through first year HS algebra. I have been a Vacation Bible School Director, children's church pastor and Sunday school teacher. I've overseen activities and field trips with the children in my charge. I am also an advocate of home schooling, having home schooled my own children. I began professionally in 2008 caring for the children of 3 young families, all of whom I Read more loved very much. but after spending only a brief period of time with each of these three delightful families. as a part time sitter / child care provider, I took on the responsibility of caring for my elderly parents. Recently, I've worked with a number of families with children ranging in age from 2 months to Teens finishing HS. In the past I was certified life guard training. I am working on updating my CPR and First Aid certificates. I have a clean background and a excellent driving record, Nutrition is a special interest of mine. I would be a good fit for parents who are interested in a healthy diet for their children. I will do 'light cooking' for the child/infant, and have experience making organic baby food. In addition to caring for your child, I will leave your home in the same clean condition as it was when I arrived. Any dishes used will be put into the dishwasher, counters cleaned, children's clothes washed, and any other 'light' clean up needed.
