I am a mom of 2 grown, successful and compassionate young men and a grandma (Nonna) to a bright-eyed, happy, 6 month old beautiful little girl. I loved raising my boys with days filled with reading, play, friends, walks, trips to museums, parks and libraries. As they grew, soccer, tennis, baseball and guitar lessons were added. Creativity was always encouraged in activities from cleaning up play areas to fort building to compositions of stories and songs. Why do I enjoy taking care of children? I love their spontaneity, curiosity, giggles, and genuine love of learning, . . . it's contagious! Now, having said that, I know that not all days are great days, some are "not so good" . Sick days are days that require an added dose of nurturing, patience, kindness and cuddling. Whether it's a stuffy nose, full fledged cold, pain from teething or a scraped knee, the Read more child in need can be assured that if Mom & Dad cannot be there, Mom & Dad will have the "Nurturing, Attentive, Loving Mama Bear" there. I have worked for attorneys, businessmen, and was the parish secretary/administrator for several years. I have always felt my strongest traits were in "Caregiving". I do not have to think about it, it comes natural to me. I will be renewing my CPR certification soon. I look forward to hearing from you, Linda
