Hi, I'm Kristina! I'm a Utah transplant, originally from Washington. I've been babysitting for as long as I can remember, for as many as 5 kids by myself in highschool (yikes!) but I loved it! When I moved to Utah after college, I spent two years in retail management until I decided that I just couldn't hate my job any longer. I quit to become a full-time nanny and I love going to work every day. I currently work for two families. One family has three kids ages three and under - boy 3, girl 1.5, girl 6 mo. The other family is a set of a girl twins ages 2.5. I take care of housekeeping duties as well (dishes, laundry, cleaning, occasional vacuuming) and I cook lunch for the girls almost every day. I take both families out on walks whenever the weather is nice and we are very Read more familiar with what there is to do outside in the area. When we're stuck inside, we have to get pretty creative! Crafts and dance parties are my personal favorites, as well as reading Are You My Mother? as many times as they will let me. As far as infants, I prefer to have some kind of carrier (a woven wrap or a moby are what I'm most familiar with) just because they keep baby snug and calm, and keep my arms from falling off (especially is baby is inconsolable, won't take a bottle, etc.) but in my work as a doula, I have gotten very familiar with infant care as well.
