They call me the baby whisperer.. just kidding. When my niece was born her Mom had to stay in the hospital and the family took shifts in taking care of Emi. Emi had collick terribly and would cry for hours. I would swaddle her as tight as I could and lay her near my heart. With a quite whoosh sound would quickly get her calm. I learned valuable life skills while watching her. I now use that lesson in taking care of the many children I have watched.
