I have been working as a nanny and babysitting for the past 10 years. I currently work during the day as a nanny for 8 month old twin girls. Before that I was working at the Fort McCoy CDC (military daycare) in Wisconsin, in the infant/pre toddler room with 9 children (ages 6 weeks – 2 years old). I went through an extensive background check before starting work. While working there we go through many different trainings, some of which include CPR and First Aid, SIDS Training, Child Abuse Trainings, and many more. I help the lead teacher build lesson plans, communicate with parents, and do the planned activities with the children. I was able to take the children on different learning field trips, the zoo, aquarium, and children’s museum. I also helped around the house with light housekeeping, children’s laundry, dishes, and meal planning and cleaning up. I have a very bubbly, charismatic, and loving personality which only adds to my ability to play, support, love, and protect the children I am looking after.
