Hi! My name is Courtney, I'm 29 years old, and I live in Durham with my husband and miniature dachshund, Susie! I have been working with kids since I was a young teenager, but have been a professional nanny since I was 17. I have worked with children aged all the way from 6 weeks to 16 years, but most of my experience is from ages 3 months to 2 years. I've worked in daycare settings, I've run a successful nanny-share, I ran my own licensed temporary in-home daycare, I've been a live-in and live-out nanny, and an au pair in Australia. Therefore, I'm 100% capable and knowledgeable about all things related to childcare! I'm a quick learner, calm, helpful, friendly, empathetic, and dependable. I take punctuality very seriously. I can be fun and free-spirited, but I also know when to be serious and firm. I hold current certifications in Read more child/infant CPR, SIDS training, First Aid, as well as being a Licensed Childcare Provider (meaning I'm legally able to open my own daycare). I have worked with special needs kids and am comfortable with watching multiple children at a time. I am also happy to do some child-related housework, run errands and do drop-offs and pickups. I have my own newer model car that can fit two car seats, and a clean driving record. I've never had a speeding ticket or any kind of ticket related to my driving, and no accidents for which I was at fault. Aside from work, I enjoy cooking, traveling, thrifting, practicing yoga, reading and photography. My rates, correlate with my 11+ years of experience and certifications that I keep up to date.
