Hello, families! I am glad that you have decided to read my profile more in-depth. I am an educated professional with 10 years of experience. Also known by past nanny kids (and now my niece!) as “BB”, I am a 31 year old female, currently living in Northern Colorado. I have had the privilege to live in other areas of the country while working as a live-in nanny, such as Texas, New Mexico and Virginia. I began babysitting at the age of 13 for friends and neighbors. I have always loved babies and young children, and when I was 21, I decided to pursue becoming a nanny. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work for some great families and have taken care of over 20 children! I have worked in both live-out and live-in capacities, and have enjoyed each experience. During my off time, I can often be found reading a book on my iPad, taking pictures (I enjoy taking pictures of my niece and a gorgeous sunset always catches my eye!), baking or spending time with my family and friends. I can regularly be found researching and/or planning potential trips. Whether it's a weekend getaway, a few hours away or across the country, I love daydreaming about potential getaways! Any opportunity that I have to explore the world is an opportunity to grow as a person. EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: I have 10 years of experience working as a professional nanny. Some of my experience has included premature babies, multiples (I have taken care of five sets of twins and a set of triplets) and a child with a rare genetic disorder (MMA). I am always striving to educate myself in any area that is currently affecting my professional life. Being a caretaker for so many years and for so many children, I feel I have a unique perspective on the excitement and challenges that comes with caring for children and relating to families. A nanny is there to help teach, love, nurture, and care for your child! believe firmly that although a nanny should remain professional and in control of her position as the caregiver, she should also be part of the family.
