Hello! My name is Maeron I am an Ethiopian American college student, studying Fine Art/Psychology (taking a year off) who is looking for a job that would be very nourishing to myself- looking after children. I'm an extremely empathetic person who believes that in this world filled with chaos and troubles, children are the only pure things that could help the world. I especially enjoy observing and taking notes from toddlers because I feel they are so insightful but they aren't aware(: I have experience nannying infants, 7 month old specifically(it was the best job of my life!!) adhering to the proper feeding and eating schedule while making sure the baby was constantly content(-: as well as looking after an other employers teenage child, driving her to and from meetings, and helping the family with small tasks around the house. Although brief, i have some experience looking after a 4year Read more old and 6 year old which were both sisters. Babysitting them included taking them too and from school in Harlem NYC (walking daily) playing with them, and helping them with their homework until their mother returned to their home in the evening. I am fire guard certified. I am a creative person with a big imagination, always learning something new and connecting all of the colors of the world, which really helps me when interacting with children!! It's like we are on the same frequency! I have a strong work ethic and i'm good with time management- structure and organization is a must in my life. I'm available full time!
