Hi! I just moved back to the area, and I am looking for a part-time or a full-time job working with children. I have experience with children ages 3 months to 4th grade both in and out of the classroom. I taught at a preschool in Alexandria, VA for almost 10 years (teaching twos and threes) and on the side, I've babysat for various families at that preschool. Since that, I have nannied for families (in Virginia Beach, VA) and worked at other preschools. When working with families, I don't mind pets. I love doing arts and crafts (I am an artist- watercolor and acrylic mostly), love music (dancing, singing, instruments), and love literacy (for the older kids, ie. making little books, pretending to make grocery lists, recipes, playing post office, etc), and don't mind taking kids to playdates, to parks, to libraries, even Wolf Trap, etc. I also don't Read more mind doing minor housework (like dishes, minor laundry, trash).
