I am a former British Au pair available for full or part time nannying in the Arlington area. I have been working with children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years for 6+ years, and have qualifications in Early Childhood Development as well as CPR and First Aid training. I adore children and value the time I get to spend with them, so I like to make all activities fun as well as educational! While working in a daycare in England, I worked my way up through the age groups, starting with infants, ending with 5-year-olds. With my final promotion I ended up running the preschool room for over a year, meaning I have plenty of experience in educational activities and know what is important when planning for a child's individual development - regardless of their age. After finishing up as an Au pair, I was then hired as part of a nanny share in DC where I was fortunate enough to work with two adorable baby girls, aged 3 and 5 months upon the time of hiring. Unfortunately in March of this year I broke my kneecap and needed reconstructive surgery which put me out of work for a while, so I am hoping to start back in a permanent full time position from mid-late October.
