HI! I'm Claire! I'm a mom (first and foremost!) to a wonderful 2 year old boy, a teacher, and a student pursuing my Master's in Education. I currently teach part-time as an assistant at an elementary school, working with children ages 3-10. I have one 2.5 year old son who is my absolute world. I'm also pursuing my master's in education and School Counseling Licensure. Previously, I was a nanny to infant twins for almost a year (that I connected with on sitter city!) and have been babysitting since I was legally of age to babysit. During my undergraduate college career, I was also an intern at a juvenile detention center helping high school aged children with their schoolwork, and I cared for young children as a volunteer at a domestic violence shelter. I just truly have always had a passion for helping children grow and and succeed. Being a Read more mother myself, I now can relate to the protective, loving, nurturing feelings that only a mother can understand, and I recognize the difficult feelings that come with leaving your child in the hands of others.
