At 23, I’ve been working in childcare in some capacity since my early teens, and it’s honestly something I hope to always be able to pursue. My work experience ranges from being an on call sitter at Chime Babysitting Boutique to my current full time position as a live out nanny, with a concentration on children under 6. I have regularly received compliments from families for ensuring open communication, keeping detailed records, and flexible scheduling to allow for some wiggle room (because we all know traffic stands still even when the kids won’t). Some common activities I love doing with kids are making our own stories, learning about various animals and places in the world, and doing fun crafting projects like hand-making cutout dolls of their favorite characters. It’s almost always a good time with a sing-along too, even when cleaning up, which is my specialty as a trained blues Read more and jazz vocalist. Maybe your kids would enjoy learning a bit of music theory too, like dynamics and why outdoor voices are forte while indoor voices are mezzo piano? Another skill that I’m particularly proud of is being able to help kids sleep, either napping or through the night, as well as sussing out why they’re having difficulty in the first place. Many times, it’s been (half jokingly) called my superpower, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. There’s almost nothing quite so rewarding as helping kids get the rest they need, because they’re able to have so much more fun learning as they play afterward. I hope this snapshot of what I’m like as a nanny has been helpful, and please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for reading this, and have a lovely day!

Frankie is a fantastic communicator, always punctual, and really great with my 2-year old daughter. Upon meeting, Frankie got down to her level and was silly with her, instantly creating a memorable bond that my daughter still talks about weeks later. Even when my child was having a difficult day, Frankie was considerate of giving her space and flexible to her needs. We will definitely use Frankie in the future!

Frankie was really great - I was in town for work and she watched my very active (just crawling, and interested in electrical outlets and drawers...) 9 month old for 2 full work days. She asked good questions before I left, and then sent me frequent updates (per my request) that made me feel at ease throughout the day. When my son was fussy (at the time 2 teeth were breaking through, he was constipated, going through a growth spurt, and was in a hotel room that he wasn't used to so... fussy was expected), she let me know via text so that I could give her some tips on things that might make him feel better. in other words, she was clearly looking out for my son and wanted to make sure he was having a good time and comfortable. When she came back the second morning, he was legitimately excited to see her and they had a really fun day together. We'll definitely ask her to come back the next time we are in town!
