Hi, I'm 29 years old. My experience in babysitting is five years long and mostly I took care of kids between 1- 11 years old. I came to the USA as an Au pair in 2010 and in order to come here I had to have a previous experience. Here, I took care of three wonderful kids, 3, 5 and 7 years old. With kids I do all kinds of activities such as visiting Washington, DC on a nice day (museums, zoo, parks), visiting local nature centers, feeding the ducks on Potomac, biking, driving kids to their activities (Tae Kwan Do, ballet, soccer), and I really enjoy it. There are so many things to be seen in Washington, DC area. On a rainy day, we would still find things to do like playing social games. For instance: monopoly, chess, scrabble for older kids which would help them with spelling, playing Read more Lego's with boys and dolls with girls, and many other games. When it's time for homework, I help and encourage them to do it on time. Also, I like to cook and kids that I took care of really enjoyed the food that I was preparing for them. I taught them how to bake some dishes, as well. I babysit for neighbor's kids sometimes, as well as taking care of pets which I really like to do since I'm a huge animal lover. From August/September 2014, I will need a full time position and if you need a nanny anytime to start August/September I would be more than happy to hear from you. Thank you.
