I am currently a temporary nanny to an adorable special needs two year old. Before this I worked as a nanny to an active, fun, and on-the-go three year old boy for two years and previously worked as a respite care attendant for a lovely special needs four year old. My experience working as a respite care provider helped verify my interest in nursing. I loved spending time with him and getting to know him. I also loved the hands on physical therapy exercises, dealing with meds, and evaluating his seizure activity. I've been taking prerequisite classes for an accelerated nursing program and plan to begin a program next fall. I am looking for a ft position that will begin this November and continue through July (2013).
