Hi I am Cordelia Epps and I am a certified caregiver in the state of Va. I have 2 lovely girls of my own. I have been working as a CNA for almost four years in November. I have worked in Home Health mostly, and some private duty as well. I know CPR and First Aid training also. I had to do CPR on my oldest daughter one morning I could not wake her up for school. I enjoy helping others and the smiles and thank yous I get from people mean more to me than the money.I have spent most of my life helping others in need because god has given me that wonderful gift. Be Blessed everyone!!!!!!!

Cordelia and I have met only by telephone. She agreed to come this weekend for a trial run for our job, so I turned other people away. She called in the afternoon of the day before she was to start around 10 am to tell me she had moved back to southern Virginia and would not be able to come. Two things bothered me. 1. She did not sound as pleasant and polite as she sounded when she was applying for the job. Had she sounded like that when she was job hunting, I would not even have considered her. 2. She was not following through on what she said she would do and she also was not giving me enough notice. Desperate since my mom can't be left alone, I asked if she could just take this Friday and Saturday, and that I'd pay for her gas. I was afraid I couldn't find anyone in the short time remaining before bedtime. She agreed to come just for the weekend. After 10pm that same night, she texted me that she isn't coming because of where she lives. She knew that before. The long drive from near Fredericksburg is a daily commute for some people who live down there. I don't know if this is malicious or just flaky and unreliable, but I would not recommend this caregiver or trust her in my home now that I know her a little. I feel her photos and her telephone conversations show contradictory attributes.
