Growing up I spent a lot of time helping my nana run her own in-home daycare. From there I assisted my mom in the church nursing room and later volunteered in the toddler room at age 13. Once I entered the adult world, I began to figure out my passion. While working retail part time, I started to nanny. Since then I've been taking turns between nannying and working in early education facilities. In both settings, I've grown working with the parents and learning/understanding the individual needs of each child. I have experience working with 3 month old infants to 5yr old preschoolers. My expertise includes feeding/prepping instant meals, diaper changing/potty training, playing (indoors and outdoors)/growing confidence in creating activities, settling them down for naptime, and maintaining a safe and loving environment of communication and boundaries.
