In 2012 I became a Mother to my sweet baby boy Isaiah and I had my second sweet miracle baby boy Josiah in 2018. Putting a child into daycare is scary and from the love I have for my boys I would always treat and care for other children just how I would hope others would treat and care for mine. My Mother always read books to my siblings and I, took us to the library, walks and played with us outside so I do the same with my kids and the children I care for. Together since Isaiah was one we have worked as a Mommy&Baby Nanny with ages 3 months-15 years old. The most I have cared for at a time is 5 working as a Live-In Nanny Sun-Thur while the parents worked in different states until they returned home each week on Thursday. I have worked in Read more several Spotsylvania County Elementary schools class up to 30 and an assisted living facility for children who have been abused. I ended up quitting and reporting the facility from the way employees treated the children who have already suffered such horrible trauma before coming to the facility. I am very overprotective over every child and could not watch Adults who see child care as a paycheck and are not in the business for the love they have for children. I have worked with Special needs children and children with behavioral issues. I learned each child requires different strategies to reduce conflict. Simply talking to the child to find out what happened in their day to trigger their behaviour can make a difference. I have the patience and love to work with any child and began work as a Mommy and Baby Nanny because I understand the fear of having a stranger watch your child. From experience on each first day with a family I think children view it more like a playdate so they are comfortable with us from the start. During my pregnancy and 3 weeks after my Son was released from Children's National Hospital NICU I went back to caring for the sweet boy I began working for early 2018. I was his special needs care attendant through Public Partnerships. I worked 6-7 days of the week early as 5:20 am and late as 2 am with both my boys. We moved so we no longer work for the family but I have them as a reference. I currently work as a School bus driver and will have the summer off. As with each family we hope to grow close and be able to help out with anything needed. Every family we care for the bond is special and memories are forever!
