Between college work and other experiences-I've held various professional childcare positions since 2010. Brief Work History: September 2010-December 2012 I was a counselor at the YMCA in a before/after school elementary age program and summer camps. Age range from preschool-high school, focused mostly on elementary. November 2013-December 2013, and August 2014-May 2015 I was an infant room teacher at Minnieland Academy (mostly full time). Age range from 3 weeks to 1 year, though I'd occasionally sub the preschool classes. October 2015-December 2015 I was a part time nanny for 3 kids (ages-6, 3, and 2). Some responsibilities/experiences: creating/implementing lesson plans (developmental activities, reading, crafts, science, fine motor skills, music, etc), food prep, diapering, documenting care, behavioral management (charts, parent communication, etc), transportation, planning outings/chaperoning, playtime-indoor/outdoor, following a schedule, cleaning, and laundry.
