My name is Laura and I love kids. I love being around kids, helping kids with homework and simply just talking to them. I am a very friendly and loving but also a hard worker. Being the second oldest cousin in my family, I have a lot of babysitting experience. I grew up having to help raise not only my younger sibling, but also a lot of my cousins that ranged from 6 months to 13 years old. Aside from that though, I worked with one family and took care of their three children that were all under the age of seven. Activities included taking the kids to the park, the pool, preparing meals, helping with homework, changing diapers, preparing a bottle, etc. I also work a lot with kids every summer because I volunteer at my church to work with the kids for summer camp. Tasks include preparing meals, Read more listening to stories, help give lessons, but mostly just interacting with the children and having a good time. I also worked at a daycare taking care of children from the ages of 6 months to two years old. I really loved it and the tasks included feeding them their bottles, or for the older kids, giving them their meals (was made by their parents), playing with them, having movie time, and getting them ready for nap time or to play outside. I have a passion to work with children because they honestly bring me so much joy. I also have experience working with children with special needs. I worked with a family that had three boys and the oldest was autistic and was the sweetest boy you would ever meet. I learned so much from him and I absolutely loved working for that family.
