Hello! I am a Registered Nurse with more than six years of Pediatric Nursing experience, one year of teaching experience with children ages 2-12, and 5 years of home-based newborn care and nanny experience. I am available for short term and one-time babysitting close to Arlington, VA. As a babysitter, I am focused, attentive, and fun! I get down on the floor and play with babies and younger children. For older ones I bring craft materials for an age-appropriate project. Then once they are asleep I am happy to do their laundry or tackle a cleaning project! My qualifications include a current active RN license in Virginia, advanced Newborn Care Specialist training and newborn experience, excellent experience with infants and toddlers, CPR/First Aid certified, background check, updated immunizations, non-smoker, fluent in English and conversant in French. I love dogs but am allergic to cats. For short term babysitting jobs, I Read more am seeking positions with a minimum of 4 hours per shift.
