Prior to becoming a babysitter/nanny, I worked for two years as a hostess at Outback Steakhouse and Red Lobster. Along with being a hostess, I had taken the responsibility of caring for my two youngest cousins, ages 6 and 4. Realizing the joy that came from being able to help them develop emotionally and physically, I began to take up babysitting as a temporary job, becoming a regular babysitter for two families with kids ages 11 and 7. In addition to that, I became a part-time nanny for a family of two kids, ages 6 and 5. My duties as a nanny included picking them up from school/daycare, preparing meals/snacks, keeping them active by regularly taking them to the park/pool/library, as well as doing minor clean-up around the house.

Carolyn is truly exceptional person who goes over and beyond in caring for children. Our boys were well taken care of and had so much fun with her. When she left for school mid August, a week later our six year old said "summer is not the same without Ms Carolyn". She was always on time, took care of getting their lunch ready, kept up with the swim and dive schedule. She took them on field trips based on their interest. She is very responsible, dependable and willing to go the extra mile.
