Hello! My name is Karin Nordin and I am currently pursuing a PhD at George Mason University. Although I spend quite a bit of my time writing papers and reading complex articles, I love taking a break from studying to have some fun with kids. My education from my Bachelors through my Masters' degree was funded through child care, so I have quite a bit of experience. My most recent experience was in 2016 and 2017, I nannied for a perfect little baby boy from when he was 4 weeks old to when he was just over a year and a half. Before that, I worked in the infant and toddler room of 3 different day cares. Total, I have over 8 years of child care experience, because I started babysitting way back when I was only 14 years old. I'm looking for a summer position with flexible hours to help supplement my summer tuition for PhD. For my own safety, I prefer to meet you and your family in a public place before I commit to a job.
