Hi there! 🤗 I've been caring for children for years and I LOVE IT!!! I'm an RN, specifically have spent time as a pediatric nurse and have worked in a wide range of other specialties in the medical field as well (mental health, oncology, med-surg, etc). My babysitting history includes caring for newborns, being a nanny for infant twins and their 2 year old sister (for 2.5 years, best time ever - became part of the family!), and even making such great friends with patients/families at the pediatric dr office that for one family with 3 girls (age 3,5,7) I became their full time babysitter and they were my flower girls! I was also a camp counselor for many years where I taught sailing (11 Summers), the last 5 years I was head counselor, and the very last year I was the camp nurse then I had to get a Read more “big girl job” but I’ll always miss those days! As a camp counselor my responsibilities were to lifeguard, teach sailing, and so many other ways of taking care of them when they’re at camp (anything from helping with nightmares/missing home to curling hair for the camp dances- always trying to keep it fun in different ways!) 24/7 for the Summer and I was specifically responsible for the young girls hall. I’ve done a few “after the kids got home from school” jobs in the afternoons (worked with a few different families through college and scheduled my classes around them). At these jobs I was responsible for keeping them engaged, busy, making sure HW was done/helping with it if needed, and of course having fun, driving them to their practices, cooking dinner, laundry, bathing, etc. I'm lifeguard, CPI, CPR and first aid certified (and also a licensed Registered Nurse- RN, BSN). Dogs are a plus- all animals actually :) and so are TWINS- I love them and hope to have my own someday!!! I recently just switched from full time to PRN (as needed) at the hospital as my husband and I try to navigate IVF and the changes that come with it so I have a little more time, but I'm not looking for any regular positions, but can help out with date nights, etc. My rate is $25$/hr. I am removing my email due to receiving so many SPAM emails from fake families, however please feel free to message me. THANKS and I look forward to hearing from you!! :) -Kay

Kay just took care of our two kids and they loved her! She stayed with them for two days/nights, including one of them over the weekend when she had them all day. To be honest, my husband and I were worried about leaving them overnight with a relatively new sitter, but Kay was amazing. She not only took my son to his Cub Scout service project, but she participated with him and sent photos to us. They had a ball! She had similar bonding time with my daughter where she painted her nails and they had "girl time" when my son attended his Cub Scout meeting with a friend. She took them to a movie and did lots of other fun activities to keep them happy and engaged. She kept the house incredibly clean and even did the kid's laundry and the bed sheets and towels from her stay. She communicated with us regularly (which was our preference!) and sent us photos, which totally put us at ease. She was proactive about questions - esp regarding their health as my son has asthma and my daughter has food and seasonal allergies. What a added bonus that she is a RN! I can't say enough good things about Kay - my only hesitation in highly recommending her is that you might steal her away from us! :)

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kay was awesome! Immediately started taking care of my kids the minute she walked in the door. Which was nice so I could get ready real quick. She responded to any text I sent her during the time she watching the kids. My son was asking for her the next day! A BONUS*** was the fact that the house was clean when I came home. Toys put away. Dishes cleaned. It was great since we were hosting a party the next day! Thank you so much Kay! We will definitely want you to watch the kids another time!

Kay was our regular sitter for over two months providing aftercare for our 6 year old for about 7+ hrs per week. She was a God-send when our family needed help! She was very reliable/dependable picking up my child, doing homework with him and taking care of him. She is a pleasure to work with and we definately recommend her for any sitting needs. Our child misses her and we intend to contact her for future sitting needs.

We'd scheduled with Kay for a Saturday night and had to switch days pretty last minute because of my husband's work schedule and she was very flexible and was able to babu sit for us the following night. My 2 year old was asleep in be already but my 5 year old was up with her for about an hour and a half and loved getting to play with her. He told us the next day that he had a lot of fun and was looking forward to the next time she could come over to play :)
