I am a 22 year old college student in the Roanoke/Salem area. I've worked part-time for Rainbow Riders Childcare Center in Blacksburg 2012-15 including full-time infant/toddler positions over summers. I also worked with them full-time for the past year as an infant teacher before returning to finish my degree. Infants and toddlers are my favorite age group to work with, but I also have extensive experience with preschool/early elementary aged children both professionally and through babysitting. I believe in play based learning, outdoor play, creative and sensory experiences, and reading often. I'm CPR/first-aid certified, non-smoker, have a car, am comfortable with pets, but allergic to cats.
