I am going to be a Junior next year at the University of Mary Washington and I'm planning on majoring in Psychology. I have about eight years of experience with children from newborns to middle school aged. I started baby-sitting when I was twelve years old and I knew right away that I wanted to pursue a career that involved children. I have worked at church nurseries, a childcare center, and I have nannied for a family who has three children ranging in age from four to nine for the past two summers. I have had plenty of experience with children who have disabilities, including my eight year old brother. I understand that each child has different needs and abilities and I am very flexible with whatever needs to be done.
