Hello! My name is Autumn(middle name), I am 29 years young, very reliable and responsible. I first began working at 18 within the childcare field and I whole-heartedly understand the importance of getting down with children on their level to interact and genuinely get to know them. I listen and know that each individual child is exactly that, an individual. No two children are alike, they are highly intelligent as well as intuitive and they all have their own special needs, wants, likes and dislikes. I look to build a relationship with them, beyond being their caretaker. I attended West Virginia Wesleyan College with a major in Psychology and minor in Sociology. My purpose for this degree is to one day counsel/mentor children, young adults and adults whom need the support most. I.E foster care children, abuse survivors and those with mental/emotional illnesses. There has always been a soft spot Read more in my heart for people who are/have experiencing/experienced these situations. I have worked a few center jobs full-time as lead teacher for children ages 5-12, but I am extremely good with all ages. I just really really love children. I always have. I've gotten very close with families from every job I have ever held. I have a 7 year old daughter with high functioning Autism, whom I have cared for on my own since day one. There are times where she may be present while I am working, but I assure you I am fully capable of caring for my child as well as yours :)
