I have been taking care of kids for 16 years now. 6 of those years I have been a mother as well. My kids are 6 and 3. I started out babysitting and working in the nursery at church. I have since gotten my basic life saving certification and my certification in nursing assistant. I am currently taking time off this summer to take care of my kids and focus on them but I don't have them a couple days out of the week and every other weekend when they're with their dad. My plan was to start working in mid to late August when they go back to school/pre-school but have decided I could use the money to work part time or even full time as a nanny if I can watch my kids as well as my employers.
