Hello! :) I am a 21 year old recent graduate from George Mason University with a Bachelors of Science in Global Community Health and a nutrition concentration. For the past year I have worked as a live-in nanny for a 5 year old girl and 9 year old boy, so I currently only have weekend availability, but I will be moving out June 23rd to an apartment in Centreville and looking to start working full-time with another great family! Preferably I am looking for a full-time job just for the summer as after that I want to pursue a job where I would get public health/nutrition experience, but there is flexibility with the end date! I am also available for occasional or date-night jobs so please feel free to reach out about those as well :) I love working with kids and have lots of both paid and volunteer experience Read more working with a variety of different age ranges. In high school I took a course for college credit called teacher cadet in which I interned in various elementary classrooms. I worked paid part time as a teachers assistant at a small at-home daycare for preschoolers aged 1-5 years old on and off for a little over 4 years in high school and college. This past summer I was a full time nanny for an 8-year-old boy, and all this experience is in addition to numerous other babysitting jobs with various families and ages :) As such, I have experience with meal preparation, pickups/dropoffs, errands, light housekeeping, nap/bedtime routines, and most importantly keeping kids safe and happy! I have excellent time-management skills from past experience balancing a full course load with working 15-20 hours a week and consider myself very responsible and dependable. I think it's very important to engage in playing with the kids, whether that be playing inside or, being an active person myself with experience playing soccer and swimming, playing games or sports outside with them. I have my own car so picking up or dropping off kids is not a problem. Furthermore, I have experience with pet-sitting and grew up with cats so animals are not a problem at all for me. I am excited for the opportunities and look forward to hearing from you!
