Ok so maybe you don't care about the fact that I can recite The Napping House by heart, and that's understandable, but here are some other wonderful qualities about me. I currently have two classes to complete to gain my associates in Early Childhood Education and I have worked as both an associate and acting lead teacher in a childcare facility in classrooms for infants, toddlers, twos (my homebase), threes, and preschool aged children. I can get down and tummy time with the best of them, read my heart out, and sing like nobody is watching with the little ones. While having fun is part of the job, educating is what's important and that's what I do best. I love to pick the brains of little ones, learn their learning styles, and plan from there. Through my classes I've learned the multiple learning styles and how to cater to them, regardless of the age of the child. In addition to these traits, I am also well practiced in creating both individualized and group lesson plans, making meal plans that are both nutritional and (especially for snack time) fun, and keeping proper documentation for parents so they know exactly how their little one is progressing.
