Hi!!! My name is Maddie and I am a Sophomore English and Elementary Education major at Lynchburg College. I am a full time student and live on campus, however I was born and raised here and have been babysitting in the area for 7 years. I have experience working with kids of all ages, including infants and I am CPR/First Aid certified. I also worked at a summer camp in the area for 3 summers, and worked as a camp counselor for an overnight camp in Maine for the 2014 summer. I worked in a nursery for 3 years, specifically with children ages newborn-2 years. I have taught dance for ages 6-15 and also have experience with tutoring. My major has also allowed me to have experience working with many ages and types of children. I love being active and coming up with creative and fun things to do with the kids I babysit for such as arts and crafts, games, or even finding ways to make homework tun and enjoyable. I am also a huge fan of reading. I consider working as a nanny and sitter to be way more than a job-I really enjoy building strong and trusting relationships with the kids I work with. I love learning about their likes and dislikes, favorite hobbies, favorite things, ect. because it helps me relate to them and form a closer bond.
