My name is Regina, I’m 32 years old, I’m from Mexico. I am very patient, punctual, energetic, friendly, responsible, love being outdoors, playing sports, and cooking. We were living in Washington DC but my husband got a job here. From April to October 2019 I worked part time in the afternoon with 2 kids ages 4 and 7. In the morning part time with 4 kids. Triplets 3.5 years old and a girl 2 years old. From February 2018 to March 2019 I worked with 2 children, ages 3 and 5. I speak Spanish with the children, something their parents are passionate about. Of note, the 3 year old has Leukemia. The parents trust me to keep him healthy by continual hand washing and I am very aware of when it is flu season. Some of the things I do with the kids are: Playing at home when the weather Read more its bad (restaurant, Legos, coloring, reading books, play-doh and a lot of crafts!!). Learning time reading, playing musical instruments, creative play and age appropriate activities. Walking and riding bikes around the neighborhood; Playing soccer; Go to the parks, play grounds; Walking around the Mall in Washington DC; Driving to the museums, and National Zoo; Meal prepping and making sure they had snacks during our outings; Light housekeeping; Children's laundry I worked with a family during my au pair experience. From August 2015 to August 2017 I took care 3 children ages 2, 5 and 7. My duties were: Getting the children ready for the school, preparing breakfast and lunch, Taking them to the bus stop; Playing with the 2 year old child at the park, walks, or doing activities like reading, coloring, drawing, making crafts, playing, etc. When the other children arrived at the bus stop, I would take the children back home, help them with their homework, prepare dinner and lastly ensure that they are ready for bed (taking showers, brushing teeth, reading to them). Other duties included light housekeeping. I have a daughter she is 12 months old. And Im looking for a job where I could take her with me. She is very friendly and she can be a good company for other kid. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Regain is truly our guardian angel! She began working with us after we returned from overseas due to our 2yr old son's Leukemia diagnosis. Once he was in remission, my husband and I returned to work full-time. Regina was instrumental in getting normalcy back into our lives. She helped our son, who was with with us day/night for 7 months, begin to be a toddler boy again, kicking the soccer ball, and going to playgrounds! And our 4yr old daughter loves doing crafts and reading with her. Regina has taken and picked up our daughter from preschool every day and takes our son with her. Our daughter will be starting Kindergarten and we have decided our son needs to be in preschool now that he is 3yrs old. We hope Regina will want to keep working with us, to help pick our children up from school and stay till we get home from work. She is looking for a family that would need help in the mornings. I trust her with driving both children for a day at the National zoo or the DC monuments. She always checks in with me before heading out on adventure and sends us pictures. My daughter stayed home with Regina, along with my son all summer and everyday then were out of the house, spending time outside or when too hot at a museum. She also took them swimming many days. Due to my son's cancer, she is diligent in ensuring both of them wash their hands and is contingent when it is flu season. Because she was the one most days taking and picking up my daughter, she was in constant communication with my daughter's preschool regarding illness going around at the school.
