I am a recent UVA graduate with a B.A. in economics. I will start a masters program in the fall. In the meantime I am looking for flexible employment. After graduating from UVA, I spend 18 months as a in full time volunteer work for my church in which I worked with the hispanic community. During this time, I helped three children improve their reading and writing skills in Spanish using literature for children. I cultivated a desire to continue to spend time with children and help them learn, be it a language, a skill or simply the desire to be actively engaged. I hope to continue to have the opportunity to have a positive impact on a child's life by providing him/she with excellent care and the opportunity to learn.
