I am a recent graduate of Virginia Tech. My degree is in Child/Human Development. I am moving forward to receive my master's degree in Elementary Education at University of Richmond in the fall and I only have classes in the evening hours Tuesday-Thursday. I thoroughly enjoy being around kids and helping them grow and develop academically! I have recently completed 325 hours in elementary school classrooms through a Pre-Education Internship program at Virginia Tech. I also have worked teaching preschool, helping in daycare (infants-2 yrs), and helping out with the after-school program for about 2.5 years. Before working in preschool, I have always been surrounded by kids and helping them. I have done a lot of babysitting jobs here and there and have loved volunteering in my mom's 1st grade classroom! Also, I have been a lifeguard in high school and have been through multiple safety and life saving courses.
