I am native of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. At age 17, I began a small daycare business during the summer months while working as a cashier for a local grocery store. I watched a maximum of five children at once (ages 12 months-8 years old). As a college student, I was a part time nanny for a family with 3 children (ages 5-8) and a family with 2 children (ages 10-14). Also, I have experience working with a special needs infant who had physical developmental delays. I graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher Licensure (minor in Family and Child development). I have 2.5 years of secondary teaching experience (Home Economics). Currently, I work with the Early Intervention program of Virginia as a Service Coordinator. My responsibilities are centered around helping families of children with special needs. My certifications include CPR/First Aid, Early Read more Intervention Professional/Case manager and Teacher license.
