I became a caregiver by chance, just stumbled upon this career field. I have been doing it for 15 years, I have worked with Infants and Toddlers, After School Care thru YMCA of Greater Richmond After School Care Program as an Assistant Director I last worked with MCVH Family and Child Care Center as an Infant Teacher (6 weeks to 1 year old) and Pre-Toddlers 12 to 17 Months old for 4 years and 3 months (5/11 - 8/15). I have attended J. Sargeant Community College to finish my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education off, due to work and personal reasons, I am 20 to 30 credits off from my associates. I am a Trained Nursing Assistant by the American Red Cross, just recently graduated from the program (August 13, 2015). I am CPR / First Aid/ AED trained and Certified.
