Hello! My name is Erin. I am a mother of a 16-month-old daughter and a part-time college student. I have several years of work experience, including 5 years as a nanny & babysitter for several families of which I can provide references, and 4 years of working as a shift supervisor in a restaurant. I am a positive, cheerful individual with a passion for working with children. I have experience with diverse personalities and a wide range of ages (newborn-10). I have studied the Montessori teaching principles and believe in and encourage child-led discovery and imaginative play. I always try to stay "present" with the child and interact with them through reading, singing & dancing along to music, preparing arts & crafts, and letting them explore outside. She is a very sweet, easygoing little girl, and would in no way inhibit me from giving your child(ren) my undivided attention. In my previous experience bringing her to childcare jobs, having a daily playmate has made the children look forward to having me come even more! I'd love to work with your schedule to provide care for your little one(s). My schedule is very flexible and I have my own transportation. I am a safe driver of a mini-van and willing to take your child(ren) to the library & playground with your permission.
