I am a 22-year-old college student at the Virginia Military Institute and will be graduating and commissioning into the U.S Air Force (as a 2nd Lieutenant officer) in May. I get stationed to my base (Andrews AFB in MD) on October 16th 2014, and am therefore looking for an enjoyable short-term job to do over the summer after graduation until I go on active duty. Hence, I would like to work as a nanny/babysitter for the time period; I love being around, playing with and caring for children. My hobbies are skiing, dancing, running, reading, listening to music, working-out and traveling. I am outgoing (though not right off the bat), responsible, hard-working and energetic. I have extensive experience caring for children due to the age difference between my siblings and I. This has given me significant experience in caring for young children and running around doing errands/tasks for them, as my brothers have always been involved with a lot of activities (piano lessons, swimming, lacrosse, soccer, basketball, sleepovers, play dates etc.). I gained my experience and comfortability with watching multiple kids from babysitting my brothers in addition to my God brother/sister (Madison 11 and Kaidan 6, who stay over weeks on end), as well as their other peers. I have been babysitting my God siblings since they were toddlers too. I can honestly say that I love being around kids and spending time with them, I am a very active and energetic person and I usually find that this to meshes well with personality and energy of younger children. I have also been EMT certified since 2011 April and therefore have some basic medical skills.
