I have a Certificate in Early Childhood Development from Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC), and am certified in CPR. I left retail and began working with preschool children. I also taught 1st grade CCD (Sunday school) at St. Raymond of Peñafort Catholic Church, and have experience working in day care centers. My strengths include: • Developing Lesson Plans • Providing nutritious snacks • Talking with parents about behavioral issues • Developing lesson based activities to stimulate learning In addition to taking classes at NVCC, I also completed Virtus training through the Arlington Diocese. This training focuses on child safety, specifically preventing and identifying child abuse. I was also required to pass a compressive criminal background check before I could work with the children at St. Raymond of Peñafort Catholic Church.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
