My name is Stephanie and I am a current student Virginia Commonwealth University. I plan on pursuing Pediatric Nursing. My experience with my two nephews has given me patience with tantrums, understanding with mischievousness, and a passion for children. After taking a child development course in high school, I then took Early Childhood Careers program. In this program, I was able to engage with preschoolers in my high school preschool on a weekly basis. I wrote up lesson plans for children ages 4-5, took children on field trips, and created a safe environment for the children to expand their creativity. Due to this I am comfortable of taking care of young children ages 2-8. I have a half husky half Labrador retriever dog named Chica, who is always full energy.
