I have been doing childcare since my middle child was an infant in 2001. I wanted to be home with him and I wanted to continue to work too so this seemed to fit. I took courses at UC Davis in childcare specializing in Special Needs children. I am not currently CPR/First Aid certified but have been in the past and have no issues with getting it reinstated. I ran an in-home daycare in my home from 2001-2012. I am not interested in doing that again but would like to focus on one family as their dedicated Nanny with set hours each week so that I can also be home with my own children after they get home from school each day, now that they are getting older, mainly to be able to assist with homework, dinner and extra curricular activities that they've not been able to do because Ive Read more held jobs recently that prevented me from being home in the evenings with them.
