When I was in the third grade, I dressed up as a Virginia State Senator (with the hopes of carrying on to be the first woman president) for class career day! My dreams since then have changed a bit; I no longer spend every afternoon in a fringe jumpsuit, impersonating Elvis or carrying out a day as Eleanor Roosevelt. My family did a spectacular job integrating education with creativity and I thank them so much for instilling in me the importance of this balance, at any age. Now as a transient college student, I am looking for a position as a part-time babysitter. With children there’s always the guarantee that tomorrow will be a new day, the possibilities are endless. I hope to not only be granted the opportunity to help encourage and cultivate younger minds, but to vicariously experience once again, an uninhibited imagination and sense of happiness for Read more the world we ought to thrive in. In addition to this I would like to add that I am a volunteer member of my local emergency services department. I have received certifications as a Nationally Registered EMT, as well as, CPR, critical incident/stress management, and a basic life savers course.
