I have a 16 year old boy, 12 year old daughter, 8 year old son and 7 year old son. My two youngest were adopted through DCF and have sensory needs as well as ADHD. With all 4 of my kids I have researched, attended trainings and workshops such as Bruce Perry and Charlie Appelstein, read books and surfed the web to try and gather information to best meet the needs of each of my children. I am a believer of "there's no bad kid, only bad choices" and use creative methods as much as possible to help kids learn to make good choices, follow directions, strong social skills, etc. I am CPR certified, and currently volunteer often at my kids daycare during the school day.
